Killing Them Softly - three 1/2 drama hearts
/I liked the film, but I did spend a bit of time with my eyes shut tight, hence the R rating. It is a gangster movie and so pretty violent. But there is a star studded cast and wonderful performances from Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Ben Mendelsohn, Scoot McNairy and Ray Liotta.
When three time losers Mendelsohn and McNairy decide to rob the gaming tables of Ray Liotta, all hell breaks loose and Pitt is brought to town to sort it all out- gangster style.
The plot twists and turns as Pitt seeks out the true robbers and time is running out for both of them as betrayals and death dog their retreating footsteps.
